Andy Browne joined Sabathani in September 2026 as Finance Director. A Minneapolis-based CPA with over ten years of nonprofit financial management experience, Andy specializes in grant accounting, payroll and benefits administration, and building the internal systems that help mission-driven organizations thrive.

Andy’s path into accounting was unconventional. It began at American YouthWorks, a youth workforce development organization in Austin, Texas, and continued with grant management at the City of Austin’s Public Health Division. Wanting to further understand the financial side of community work, Andy earned a Master of Professional Accounting and became a CPA, later serving as Senior Accountant at Wegner CPAs and as Outsourced Controller and CFO at Common Good Bookkeeping Cooperative. Andy believes accounting either supports or limits what an organization is able to do in the world.

Outside of work, Andy and wife Sara love exploring Minneapolis together while enjoying long walks, thrifting adventures, and the occasional hike.
